This From That was created to provide quality jewelry at affordable prices. The inspiration and meaning behind the name is twofold. The first reason is just what the name implies. I made 'this' piece from 'that' material. I love to use old coins, rocks, beach glass, recycled materials and found objects to create unique pieces that each tell a story.

My second source of inspiration embodies the expression "Necessity is the mother of invention." My mother and I were shopping for a pair of earrings and were quite frustrated with the selection available for sensitive ears. I didn't like the cheaper options and the higher quality earrings weren't a realistic option on a student's budget. I thought that there had to be a better way. So I made one. "This" line of earrings and necklaces came from "that" inspiration.
